37 hours per week - Permanent

£23,114 - £24,702 per annum, depending on skills and experience 

We currently have a Housing Administrator vacancy in our busy and proactive team. Acting as the first point of contact on a day to day basis on all aspects of the Joint Housing Service, you will provide first class customer and administrative support for the Joint Housing Services team.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will advise and assist customers on all aspects of the Common Housing Register and allocation of social housing. This includes responding to customer queries over the phone, inputting customer applications, monitoring and supporting the bidding process, and all tasks related to the general administration of the Common Housing Register.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good numeracy and literary skills
  • Basic knowledge of housing legislation and guidance
  • Strong customer focus 
  • Good team player
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines with support and direction
  • Previous experience in Housing or a similar field (highly desirable)
  • Please note, basic DBS clearance is a requirement of this role.
